Victoria is a PhD student funded by the SWBio DTP (University of Exeter) under the supervision of Prof Kim Hammond-Kosack (RRes) and Dr Mike Deeks (UoE). Her research focusses on elucidating the role of plasmodesmata during Fusarium graminearum infection of wheat, through biochemical, molecular and microscopy techniques.
Victoria previously completed an MSci in Biological Sciences at the University of Bristol with a thesis project supervised by Prof Alistair Hetherington.
