Net Zero and Resilient Farming
Pei-Tzu is interested in understanding factors that influence macro- and micro- nutrient flux in sustainable agricultural systems. Her expertise is soil biochemistry, chemical analysis and instrumental analysis. With her expertise, her PhD project aims to reveal the movement and distribution of some trace elements (Cu, Zn, Mn and Se) in grazing pasture systems, which includes the investigation on mineral supplementation, sheep, manure, soil and grass. She hopes that her research can help for creating farming practices that use nutrients in a more efficient way and keep animals healthy at the same time.
