Intelligent Data Ecosystems
Nathalie has moved from a strictly biological background, via software development and scientific software support, to developing and maintaining databases for scientific information, learning skills on the job. Nathalie uses SQL in general, in two flavours, MSSQL and MySQL; she has a range of web skills (html, css, javascript, Boostrap); and programing skills (php, python, GIT) .
At the moment, she works mainly within the electronic Rothamsted Archive (e-RA) project, which aims to store and deliver data from the long-term and classical experiments. The tools hide from the users the complexity of the data without diminishing their power. Her latest application? A site to deliver digital copies of Rothamsted public documents. Nathalie is also the web master for the monogram website, which is the platform for grass and grain research in the UK.
