Biography

Michael has been working on WGIN wheat crossing (including Triticum monococcum) since 2006. He has been WGIN assistant since 2013, organising management and stakeholder meetings, taking minutes at management meetings, maintaining and updating the WGIN website, writing the annual stakeholders' newsletter, keeping diversity trial seed storage, and providing seed on request. Currently, he is also organising the wheat promotome capture experiment, which includes compilation of trait lists with 50 genes for A, B and D genomes and a total of 1500 genes, sequence corrections, chromosomal DNA preparation from 96 wheat cultivars.
