Mamadou is a post-doctoral research scientist with an interest in natural products chemistry. He completed his PhD at Antwerp University in 2021, where his research focussed on the characterisation of bioactive plant metabolites using bioassay guided fractionation and dereplicative studies (In silico MS/MS fragmentation and Molecular Networking).
His current research focuses on isolation and characterization of promising compounds by NMR and Mass spectrometry techniques.
