The big picture: using wildflower strips for pest control
They may be beautiful, but these strips prove pretty deadly for every farmer's mortal enemy: aphids
Net Zero and Resilient Farming
Grace’s work is focusing on resilience and tipping points in agroecosystems. Their research aims to apply bifurcation theory to understand the rates and modes of decline in already degraded terrestrial systems. This work will combine in-situ and remote sensing data to detect abrupt declines at the sub-field, field, and regional scales. Their research seeks to uncover the factors that maintain system stability, drive further degradation, or facilitate recovery in agroecosystems.
