The big picture: using wildflower strips for pest control
Sustainable Soils and Crops
David is experienced in field crop experimentation, including in-season and post-harvest phenotyping and sample processing. The work entails managing and prioritising seasonal work, and managing visiting students and seasonal workers. This, in turn, involves giving the correct and appropriate training in the different laboratory and field techniques. David also collects and collates large data sets connected with each of the different field trials. Current experiments focus on wheat, and a total of approximately 10 000 plots are grown within the research group. David is competent in various laboratory analytical techniques, which include sample preparation for mineral analysis.
