Anjana is scientific specialist for Electron Microscopy at the Bioimaging facility, she is responsible for the on-going projects on SEM and TEM within Bioimaging (Plant Sciences and the Bioeconomy). She trains and supports users on standardisation of specimen preparation, cryoSem specimen preparation, ultrathin sectioning, and advanced methodologies for high-end imaging. Anjana also undertakes collaborative projects with internal and external researchers from various fields. She has experience working on biological (drosophila, mice tissues, zebra fish, plant tissue, etc.) and material samples (nano particles, powder samples, etc.), from sample preparation to ultrathin sectioning and imaging.
Currently, she is working on a few of the internal and external projects which include oil seeds, grains, and plant pathogens.
