Aislinn is a data scientist with a background in agricultural ecology. She has an MSc from Imperial College London in Applied Ecology and completed her PhD in insect-virus interactions in 2016. She has experience designing treatments for complex systems level field trials and measuring multiple aspects of the farming system from plant and insect diversity to soil function. Aislinn currently works as a Product Owner for FarmOS, working with the farm team at Rothamsted to adapt this free and open-source farm management software to UK agriculture and the FAIR farm management and field experiment data. Aislinn also works on standardising and implementing key business systems such as Electronic Research Notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems. In addition she is co-convenor of the Agricultural Ecology Special Interest Group at Rothamsted and also part of the Sustainability Group, specifically working with the Farm and Facilities Team to develop a Habitat Management system for the site.
