Open Farm Sunday

We're opening the gates to our research farm as part of Open Farm Sunday!

Join us between 11am-4pm and see the agricultural experiments taking place across our 300Ha farm and the machinery that makes them possible. Meet the farm team and the scientists working on the future of food. Explore on foot via our many public footpaths or take a ride on a tractor trailer tour (requires pre-booking). Simply turn up on the day, ready to explore and learn!

Feeling peckish after all that? Pre-order and collect a delightful cream tea from Rothamsted Manor: https://www.rothamstedenterprises.com/event/open-farm-sunday-afternoon-tea/. The Manor Bar will be open, serving hot and cold drinks throughout the day, with lawn games out for you to enjoy. 

To book your tractor trailer timeslot, click here. Please allow time before your slot to get to the Manor, where the tour will leave from, it takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from the car park to the Manor.

Free parking is available at the Conference Centre, but please enquire if you require disabled parking.
